Pink Moon originally had a Craft Commerce site they weren't happy with and came to Honcho for a complete rebuild.
At the time, this was the largest project in Honcho's history and also one of the most complex. As project lead, I managed a team of five developers through the entire build cycle, from scoping and task allocation to client meetings and delivery, ensuring we launched in time for one of their largest event launches.
Beyond management, I handled several critical technical implementations. I contributed to both the payment checkout system and the custom accommodation booking system that allowed users to make full or partial payments for their festival bookings. I also developed a custom module that enabled the client to export specialised reports about their orders, providing detailed insights into booking patterns and revenue. They also used exported data on the day of the event, importing it into their system to verify users had paid for their orders.
I also built the ticketing logic that generated confirmation tickets for completed orders and implemented an automated payment reminder system for customers with outstanding balances.
The project launched on schedule, providing Pink Moon with a robust commerce platform that met their complex business requirements and supported their high-volume festival operations.
